How long does it take to get listed?
Most listings go live within 48 hours of submission. Every listing is reviewed by an editor before publishing. If anything is missing or unclear we will email you before going live.
What is the difference between Free and Premium?
Free is a basic directory entry: name, category, district, contact details, and a short description. Premium adds the verified badge, image gallery, opening hours, map embed, homepage rotation, newsletter mentions, and priority editorial coverage. Full comparison is above.
Can I upgrade from Free to Premium later?
Yes, any time. Existing free listings can be upgraded with no disruption to your URL or content. Just email us or submit the upgrade form and we will switch you over.
What if my listing isn't approved?
If we cannot publish your listing as submitted, you get a full refund and an email explaining why. We are a curated directory, not a pay-to-play one. That is part of what makes the verified badge worth having.
How is Dubai Xtra different from other Dubai directories?
We are smaller and more curated. Every business in our directory is reviewed by an editor. We focus on businesses worth knowing, not exhaustive coverage. Our audience is residents and visitors who already trust the recommendation when they arrive.
Can I edit my listing after publishing?
Premium customers get a dashboard to edit their listing details directly. Free listings can be updated by emailing us. Either way we typically turn around requests within one business day.
Do you accept payment in AED?
Yes. We accept AED, USD, GBP, and EUR. Premium is billed annually at AED 800 (or the equivalent in your currency). We invoice on submission and never auto-renew without your written authorisation.
Will my listing show up in search engines?
Yes. Every listing has a clean URL, structured data, and is indexed by Google. Premium listings tend to rank higher because they include images, full contact details, and structured opening hours.
