LTA Martial Arts, JVC - Review
LTA Martial Arts is more than a fitness boxing gym, it can develop you all the way up to professional level, with a big space, a professional ring and genuinely experienced fighters training alongside members. A thoroughly enjoyable session and an easy recommend for anyone serious about boxing in JVC.
First Impressions
If you want to take up boxing for fitness and actually get better at the sport, there is one martial arts club that stands out from the rest.
I recently visited LTA Martial Arts club in JVC District 10 and was very impressed.
The Training Session
Personal training sessions were available for AED 300, but I got a deal of two sessions for 500 dirhams.
I went through a warm up and stretching, then we started hitting some pads for boxing. There was a pro heavyweight in the gym and another experienced muay thai fighter. We had three rounds of body sparring and moving around the ring, which was a great experience, and also had a good time hitting the pads.
This is more than a fitness boxing gym and can develop you all the way up to professional level. Really enjoyed training at this gym.
The Gym And Classes
It was a big gym with plenty of space, a huge amount of heavy bags, floor space and a professional ring.
There are also plenty of classes for boxing throughout the day. Sparring class is on Saturdays from 6pm to 8pm. Boxing class runs Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8pm for one hour, and again on Saturdays for one hour at 7pm. Muay thai and kickboxing classes run daily in the evenings.
